Didn't fit

Like the Betty, the Sophia is a lovely bra. Made of a soft satiny material with a fairly soft mesh material as the top part of the cup. If you are familiar with Tutti Rouge, you know that they have had some manufacturing issues, and that there are more TR bras that are sized wrong than there are true to size. This goes for the Sophia too.

I bought a 28H knowing it would be way too tight in the band after having purchased the Betty in that size and finding out it only measured 26" instead of the 28" it should have been/I needed. After the exchange courtesy of Large Cup Lingerie (who are incredibly awesome and whom you should definitely check out), I got my 30GG Betty which was actually a 28. Between my exchanging the Betty and buying the Sophia, my mom gave me an extender. She'd bought a pack of 4 that were pretty cheap, and didn't need them all. So I decided to buy the Sophia when it was on sale at LCL, knowing I'd need an extender.

I really like the Sophia. It's soft, comfy, and cute. Love the blue/green color and the cute heart detail (standard to TR bras). I definitely don't love the fact that I can't tighten the straps enough without one. I am quite high set as well as short, so these straps don't work for me. Thankfully, my mom is going to adjust them so that I can finally wear the bra. In the reviews I read, many people mentioned that the mesh at the top of the cups was way too much fabric. I found that to be true for my shape as well (both FOB and FOT people mentioned it), though it's not too bad. It will also be an easy fix thankfully.

I found the cups of both the Sophia and the Betty to be TTS (true to size), but I've read that many other people find the cups to be off too. It definitely seems to be a total toss up what you'll end up with. TR is a great brand, and I hope they continue to do well. I also hope that they really start listening to their customers and make bras more true to size. Or continue making the 26" bands (plenty of women need them!), but label them as such, and get a better hold on the cup sizing.
