Didn't fit

Me: Center full, close set, immediately projected, omega shaped, very short waisted, shallow and wide underarm tissue,....

This is delightfully soft. The lace cups, straps, and band are fully lined. Such a comfort-improving feature. Additionally, the band under the cups is reinforced with limited stretch flat cording (this may not be the correct term). This is a much-appreciated, supportive feature that is absent in most bralettes. Sincerely, if you need a bralette, move this model to your short list of contenders.

Dimensionally, this is similar to the vast majority of bralettes: it caters to smaller, wide-set breasts. The cup is large enough to cover my short-rooted 30Gs. However, shortening the band and eliminating the center separation are essential for a viable fit on my close-set breasts. When these alterations are in place, the cup is no longer big enough, and the cup seams sit on my breasts. Ugh.

The straps are partially adjustable and may pose a problem for more petite users. Additionally, they may not be long enough for tall and low-set users. For reference, I am wearing this bralette with the straps as tight as the design allows.

I like this bralette very much and have seriously considered investing time into alterations. But, it is not ideal for my particular breast characteristics. Sigh.

I love the colour and the fabric, but I still can't understand why all brands always make bralettes for wide set breasts. It's so frustrating :(

  • I agree wholeheartedly, WelshCorgiPembroke

Ditto! I keep looking for something that accomdates inner fullness and something less wide set.

revisa Kindred Bravely Organic Cotton is by far the best, but it is a bit difficult to remove when damp which makes it less desirable in hot, humid climates. The band, busty sizes only, provides admirable support for a simple cotton bra.

Thanks for the heads up. I really prefer when they have a back closure and a bit more bralette styling.... which is probably why I'm still looking lol.

  • Salem's Scissors is adding a back fastener to the Kindred Bravely design. And, I know the fabric will be more visually appealing when she is finished, too. I'm so excited :-)

Love4Pollinators that's a great idea! On Facebook I messaged KB about the OC XS busty and they informed me that they've rolled out a new sizing system. I extrapolated that was their way of saying they won't make it. It is still not on the site. What a shame, I would have definitely ordered one or two. But maybe the SS seamstress would consider filling that hole in the market. And with a back fastener? Even better.

  • yogurt, The small-busty from the past will be the x-small busty of the future. I promise: it is coming :-) :-) We should ask "When will the x-small busty be in stock?" That is not a question I've asked yet. I'm filled with trepidation that it may not fit after the size system update. I've requested an x-small extra-busty....that size, I can promise will never happen ;-)

I'm eager and grateful for @Salem'sScissors help :-)
