Used to fit

EDIT: This now cuts in considerably at the top and is painful to wear.

I like this bra. I'm moderately full, but I think someone very full on top would have a problem with this. The yellow is cheerful. The gore on this bra is too wide, but I live with it (and in the case of the black, I took it in, which also opened up the top of the cups).

After a few months of ownership, this was my best fitting bra. "I'll just buy it in different colors and I'll never have to try another style again!", I thought. Not so fast. The cups on the black Lucy seem larger than the yellow, although this is partially because the black is a full 1/4" wider at the bottom of the gore than the yellow or the pink versions. The navy with pink lace version actually is larger in the cup than the yellow. I took the gore in on both the black and the navy, which helps.

I also think that some retailers report this as "runs small" because of the lace at the top - it doesn't have much give (hence the "ski slope" effect I mentioned above). I realized that regardless of color, the lace does flatten you out a bit if you have any fullness at all. It's not uncomfortable, however, not noticeable under clothes, and I believe it stretches out just a bit with wear. The top of the cup aside, I don't believe the bra does run small.
