I've been wearing generic sports bras for almost a year guys. A YEAR! I got so tired of returning bras I just quit. But I really need the support, not to mention how much better they look with a real bra! I'll be posting a fit request on my @Parfait Charlotte that is too small, or too shallow I suppose. I was wearing an old VS padded push up until my puppy chewed it up when he was 3 months old. He's 9 months old now, so it's been awhile.

I got sick last week and lost 9 pounds so I don't need an extender so that's a bonus. Ha. I really like the padding in push up bras though.. when I wear a lined bra and they look smaller and I hate that. It's not exactly what I was going for 10 years ago when I had my augmentation. Most bras smash them to the point that they feel like they're collapsing my lungs so I know I need deeper cups.

I have high profile implants, and my left is about 50/50 breast tissue & implant. The right is pretty much silicone and nipple. So you can see why I had the augmentation.

If anyone has a favorite push up, please let me know! I need a nice bra that shows the girls to their best advantage and, more importantly, doesn't cause pain!

  • I know it's not exactly what you're asking for (sorry!) but I wear padded half cup bras almost exclusively and they make my average chest look pretty big I think! Just the padding and the fact that they hold my breasts up and forward at a flattering angle makes a big difference. There's also the option to add "cookie" pads in them which can give a slight pushup effect without the discomfort that can come with pushup bras. My favorites are Comexim 3 part half cups, but other brands make great ones as well.

  • The problem with most pushups out there is that they have so much padding at the bottom that they become very shallow overall, so if you're even a little bit projected they tend to not to stay in place and cause pain.
