On July 5th I visited the cutest little bra boutique called The Bra Box for my very 1st professional bra fitting ever. I was so excited about my trip there and I had my mind set on getting a good strapless bra for summer, if nothing else. The first strapless bra I tried on was amazing it felt so secure except cups were a bit large on me. I ended up walking out of there with my Natori feathers bra and the strapless one on order in my size. The email said to give orders 5 weeks to come in... WTH! 5WEEKS. not to mention I paid for both bras and they costed a small fortune based on my part time salary. Anyway, 2 weeks later I got a call from them and I was relieved cause I thought I was gonna be able to pick it up. BUT NO.... the bra was back ordered and was gonna take a couple extra weeks IF at all so they ordered a "very similar" back up strapless as a just in case. Still no strapless bra. I can't even remember which one it was I tried on. I want my bra sooooo bad!!!! Lol I've been searching dept. stores and the internet for anything that resembles it so i can maybe get one in a different color. I really don't know which one it isand it's driving me nuts. I know the back up bra is by Parfait. I guess I just gotta keep waiting.

  • Oh no!! That is such a bummer :( I am so sorry this has happened to you. There are lots of places to order non-matrix sizes from online though, and thankfully 30DD is occasionally starting to be included in bra models even for brands that don't specialize in non-matrix sizing, such as Aerie. I'm sure someone else can come by with more website suggestions, as I haven't been buying new bras really at all in the past two years, but http://www.figleaves.com/us/ is a popular website to buy from, and don't forget to consider buying from other users! Both here on bratabase as well as r/braswap on reddit.

  • Thanks for the link!!! Since then I have been ordering bras on amazon mostly and I noticed the dillards near me is starting to carry a larger size range. This strapless bra is going to complete me if I ever get it. Lol. As much as I would love to support this local boutique Idk if it's worth it. The waiting is ridiculous and the bras are so over priced. My Natori was 72 bucks. It's not even that much on the Natori website at full price. Found it on sale for 42 on amazon. The ladies there are amazing though. Can't beat the customer service. Anywho... that's my rant on this. Thanks for your suggestions @tiggaren
