Washing bras in the washing machine

I know you aren't supposed to, but I found some mesh cylinders that work ok for my soft cup bras. Except, I just ordered my first foam strapless in a 34FF, and I'm concerned about it not keeping it's shape in the washer. If I can't toss it in with my other delicates, it'll never get washed (I'm not a hand washer--ain't nobody got time for that!) Has anyone found a bra ball type product for bigger cups? My searches aren't finding anything, but my Google-fu is admittedly weak. My other idea is buying one of those plastic baseball cap washing things and seeing if that works--my husband is never without one of those caps, and they get pretty nasty in the summer so it wouldn't go to waste even if it didn't work for a bra. I'll admit that the only reason I even have the idea is because my cups fit on my sister's head--yep, she tried it on when she saw it, equal parts embarrassing and hilarious. ;-)

  • I have a front loader and it has a very gentle short cycle, I wash them in there with out anything else and and hang them right when the cycle ends. So far so good. Agreed no time for the hand wash!

  • I have those same mesh cylinders. I've washed padded bras in them on the delicate cycle in my front-loader; they were fine.
