Comexim Synthetic Cookie Pockets + Summer Heat/Humidity = Heat Rash?

Some synthetic performance fabrics have excellent wicking properties. The question is:
Do Comexim's synthetic cookie pockets have excellent wicking properties?

Thanks!

  • Maybe just me, but both the mesh and cotton lined pockets made me feel hotter. The synthetic mesh less so, but I wouldn't call them moisture wicking. I'm generally not a sweaty person, though. YMMV

  • I would be really surprised if cookie pockets could be moisture wicking. Moisture wicking fabrics work by taking up the humidity quickly and channeling it away from the body, so it can dry in the open air.

Even if the pockets absorb the moisture, where would it go? There is cotton padding all around, and cotton is known to absorb moisture instead of channeling it away from the body. Cotton fibers keep the moisture, and dry very, very slowly. (That's why one is not supposed to wear any cotton layers when doing high intensity sports such as running.)

I avoid all padded bras in summer, and go with uppadded ones instead.
