Creaky wires

As I was swooping and scooping into my Cleo Marcie this morning, the wires made a weird creaking noise, like creaky floorboards. They made the same noise periodically throughout the day as I moved around and again when I took the bra off at night. There are no obvious fit issues and the wires sit perfectly around my root, so I thought it might just be because of how stiff the wires are and the smallest movement makes them creak, anyone else experience this?

  • mine do that a lot. I think it is because they rub against the wire channel. It does seem to happen with firmer wires and in older bras. I have some success with shifting the wire channel fabric by grabbing tightly to one wire with each hand and sliding together and apart to resettle the wires in the channel. I kind of feel like there should be a wd-40 for bras, but ...

  • I wonder if putting a couple stitches at the ends of the wire channels would help (to keep the wires from shifting around with movement)?
