So, I went shopping yesterday with my best friend. Technically the occasion for our trip was to pick up a teapot for me (a belated b-day gift). However, on our way there, we passed by a lingerie store having a sale. So, we decided to pop in and have a peek. My friend asks if I think they have my ... size, and the perceptive sales lady asks, "Which size?" so I said 28FF/28G. depending on the bra, and to my shock, she says. "Those are over in the back there, the Freya bras, only the molded ones, though." I mean, I realize that 28 bands do exist (Obviously, since I own some), but this is a first time I've walked into a lingerie store and not been told that either they don't carry them, or that they'd have to be special ordered. (For comparison, both of these places carried up to at least a UK H cup, and did stock [at least a few] 30 bands, so it's not like I'm comparing it to VS, or something like that) I tried on the Freya Deco Honey Moulded Plunge Bra (1254) in Iris, size 28FF, the Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) in Lagoon, size 28G (since the 30FF at another store had fit fairly well), and another, which I believe was another Deco in a gorgeous raspberry colour with zebra print bows on the gore, and where the straps meet the cup. I ended up buying the Deco Honey, because it was the best fit, so that one will get a fully completed chart, and I can give partial info on the others. I only got the one because, even on sale, it was more than twice what I normally spend on bras. But, as a special occasion, and given how nice it was to actually try on 28 bands in store before making a decision, I got it. I only wish they had a bigger selection to choose from, but who knows...maybe one day ^_^

Personally, as a fellow cheapskate (despite my champagne tastes!) I am always on the lookout for detailed fit reviews and extensive brand overviews. As a bargain hunter, I need as much info as possible about different bras that could work for me, so that I can instantly identify them and snap them up when they are on super duper clearance :-D I think this is one way that Brasihate has built up such a following. I'm not implying that her entire readership is composed of bargain hounds like me (ha!) but for any lingerie lover with a fuller cup size, she provides a very attractive kind of content due to the detailed, extensive info on her blog about many different bras, different brands and different types of designs.
However, since you're also targeting an underserved size range, I think another cool way to garner a following would be to keep a running count of brands/bras/retailers that do make smaller bands, with regular spotlight features on new offerings in your size range.
Also, if you are able to build up the technical knowledge and vocab, you might think about doing regular features where you analyze the common fit issues that are peculiar to the people in your target size range and discuss the design of bras in this range. I often read here on Bratabase about the differences in design and structure from one size range to another, but I don't think I've seen a ton of detailed explanation about that on blogs. I think you could set yourself apart if you provided helpful info that people newly fitted into 28-and-under bands would be able to use to immediately select bras that could work for their shape.
